This organisation has been established mainly to facilitate better understanding of the Indian culture and its diversity among wider Australian community through the means of celebrating its major festivals. It will seek support and will work in conjunction with Indian & Australian governments as well as other cultural and social organizations.

About Us
Celebrate India, a Victorian organisation, was the vision of 4 key members in 2006. The idea was to share the colour and richness of the Indian culture with the broader community of Victoria by celebrating various festivals of India in the heart of Melbourne.
The Diwali event of Celebrate India has been a great success right from the very start. Thousands of people attend the daylong festivity, It’s considered to be the biggest festival of lights event in Melbourne year on year.
